Newborn Photography | Utah County | Baby Oliver

This Newborn Photography session was so much fun to photograph. Baby Oliver’s mom is one of my best friends and we did these photos in my bedroom at my home in Eagle Mountain, Utah.

Emery is Oliver’s older sister and she is rambunctious and Amanda was worried she wouldn’t sit still long enough to get a few nice photos. Emery was a dream.

Spunky little kids are so much easier to get to do what you want them to than people think. They show their true personalities and aren’t afraid to be themselves. It makes for a really fun session. We got some of the most intimate and exciting photographs I’ve ever taken.

Newborn photography is one of my favorite type of shoots to do. Parents may worry that their child won’t behave, but I have found that it is one of my favorite things to capture the perfection and innocence that is babies.

Here are more kind words from Amanda about her photography session for Oliver:

These pictures are absolutely priceless for my husband and me. I had never done an in-home photography session before. So I was a little nervous since it was something new for my family. I was also nervous because our two-year old is a ball of energy. And she can be known to smile at everyone except when there’s a camera around. I was apologizing about how chaotic this might be from the start, but Leianne immediately took away all my worries. She was a natural with making us all feel comfortable and with bringing out the best in all of us. Instead of trying to make our daughter sit still she embraced the craziness and ended up getting some of our favorite shots ever! Thank you Leianne for capturing this time in our lives!
