White Space Studios Sandy

We did these photos at the amazing White Space Studios in Sandy, Utah. I highly recommend using a studio for any sort of portrait shot. Updated headshots, families, newborns and even bridals work wonderfully in a studio. Studios are great alternatives when the weather outside is tricky!

I have taken photos of the Wells family for the last 5 years. I love them. They are so wonderful to work with and have been family friends for most of my entire life. I grew up with the mom and her little brother and mine have been best friends since they were 2 years old. When the Wells family asked me to do portraits of their 3 children I absolutely said yes!

Doing photos of 3 kids can be a little chaotic. I absolutely thrive in that environment. Bryan and Mackenzie were worried about getting nice “looking-at-the-camera” photos of their second son, Ethan. Ethan is rambunctious and full of energy. I told them not to worry about it and we’d snag a few. He gave me some of the BEST smiles. If you are ever worried about your child who is extremely full of life, please don’t. I promise it is actually easier to get genuine smiles from these kids. They are just expressing all of their emotions at one time.

Their smallest son, Tate, turned one just a few days after these photos were taken. He was already walking all over the place. It was amazing to see his growth in the last year. I took his newborn photos when he was born. To see Tate’s in-home newborn session click here!
